These songs and verses can be used to transition from outside play time to circle or story time or as a way to help your child calm down before a nap or bedtime.
*Sung: Come let us gather around, come let us all lie down (2x)
Let us form a ring, ring-a-ring-a-rye-a
*Sung (As many times as needed):
Quiet, quiet, make not any noise
Listen, listen, to your teacher’s voice (...your mommy’s voice etc.)
Quietly we’re resting now, carefully we’re lying down,
(can add: Our hands and feet are resting now, all our words are
Silent now…)
We’re quiet, we’re quiet, we make not any noise.
*Sung (2-3x): You whose day it is, make it beautiful,
Show us your rainbow colors, and make it beautiful.
You whose day it is, make it beautiful,
Show us your rainbow colors, so it will be beautiful.
*Sung (Raffi Cover):
Thanks a lot,
Thanks for the Sun in the sky.
Thanks a lot,
Thanks for the clouds so high.
Thanks a lot,
Thanks for the whispering wind.
Thanks a lot,
Thanks for the birds in the spring.
Thanks a lot,
Thanks for the moonlit night,
Thanks a lot,
Thanks for the stars so bright.
Thanks a lot,
Thanks for the wondering me.
Thanks a lot,
Thanks for the way I feel.
Thanks for the animals,
Thanks for the land,
Thanks for the people everywhere.
Thanks a lot,
Thanks for all I’ve got,
Thanks for all I’ve got.
*Sung (3x): Now I walk in beauty,
Beauty is before me,
Beauty is behind me,
Above and below me,
On one side and the other.
*Sung: Sail away, silver boat, on the water, gently float.
Through the magic, moonlit veil,
Without an oar, without a sail.
We end with the teacher playing the lyre.
This track contains all of the songs in one continuous stream. If you need a 10 minute break, your child can listen here; if you need 20 minutes play it again.
Here is a sweet song for bedtime.

is there a way to make it so that we can download the track that contains all the songs? It might be helpful so that we can listen to it as many times as need to have it memorized.
